FAQ

Questions every visitor asks

Straight answers — the same ones we give on WhatsApp every day.

Is taxi safe in Istanbul for tourists?

Generally yes — most drivers are honest. Problems cluster around tourist hotspots, so use taxis from official ranks or an app like BiTaksi, and make sure the meter (taksimetre) is running from the start.

Not sure about a quote? Send it to us and we'll tell you if it's fair.

How much is an airport transfer from Kadıköy?

As of mid-2026, day tariff (06:00–24:00): roughly 750–1.000 TL to Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) and 1.400–1.800 TL to Istanbul Airport (IST) by metered taxi. Between 00:00 and 06:00 the night tariff applies and fares run about 50% higher. A pre-arranged private transfer costs slightly more but the price is fixed before you ride — day or night.

What is the best way to go to IST Airport?

With luggage: a pre-arranged transfer or taxi, 45–75 minutes depending on traffic. On a budget: Marmaray to the European side plus the M11 metro, or the Havaist airport bus — plan 90–120 minutes either way.

Can I book a private transfer via WhatsApp?

Yes. Send your date, time, pickup point and destination. We confirm a fixed price and the driver's details — you pay the driver directly, no prepayment needed.
