Between 00:00 and 06:00 the night tariff applies and fares run about 50% higher. A pre-arranged private transfer costs slightly more but the price is fixed before you ride — day or night.

What is the best way to go to IST Airport?

With luggage: a pre-arranged transfer or taxi, 45–75 minutes depending on traffic. On a budget: Marmaray to the European side plus the M11 metro, or the Havaist airport bus — plan 90–120 minutes either way.
